Welcome to Hideaway Farms, breeders of AMHA Miniature Horses, where quality is foremost.

Hideaway Farm, owned and operated by Geraldine Senerote and June DiCiocco, began it's venture in 1972 as a dog and cat boarding and grooming facility. Having shown Miniature Schnauzers, Smooth Fox Terriers and Miniature Wire Dachshunds since 1965, making the transition to Miniature Horses seemed like the right thing to do. Bringing the expertise of studying genetics, along with a trained eye for the conformation of a good animal, our search for what we considered a well made horse began.

Our quest brought to us Alameda Farms and a friendship began with Judith Kurth. We liked what we saw in her breeding program and with her vast experience in Arabians, her showing expertise, and her invaluable sharing of knowledge, we decided to purchase our foundation stock from her. We purchased several mares and colts and have been able to begin a line of elegant Miniatures with Johnstons Gold Bar, Sterling Silver and Winks Jangles as our cornerstone. We never looked back once we began and today we feel we can offer quality AMHA Miniature Horses to those who wish to begin or improve on their own program.

Since 1991 we have been breeding the Arab type miniature with a sweet disposition. We are making quality the forefront of our breeding program not quantity.
